'Perfection EP' is Out Now!

My third release, an EP, holds a special place in my heart. I wanted to create a sonic landscape that reflects nature and my deep connection to it. To capture this feeling, I purposely produced three separate yet interconnected trance tracks, moving between 132 and 136 BPM. Delivered in my own signature sound, the vibe is melodic, pleasant, deep, and open. I chose the title 'Perfection' because nature itself is flawless, naming the individual tracks after the letters A, B, and C. Together they form an alphabet - a complete summary of how I perceive the natural world - and even the cover art was specifically designed to match this vision. This is how the 'Perfection' EP was born.

Official Debut: 'Eye' EP

Marking my debut release, the 'Eye' EP is finally out now. Rooted in the trance genre, the tracks move between 136 and 146 BPM. Alongside three brand new productions, the EP features 'Midnight' and 'Awakening', the two records crafted during my 2006 studio sessions. Together, these five tracks deliver a fast, energetic, and melodic journey with an abstract, unique signature sound that reflects my current emotional world.

'Eye' EP

Signature style

The year 2006 was dedicated to refining my signature style, which ultimately birthed two specific tracks: 'Midnight' and 'Awakening'. These productions captured a deeper, more mature late-night energy that I had been chasing for years. Little did I know at the time, these two records would become the core foundation of my upcoming debut, setting the stage for what was about to come next.

A New Identity

2005 marked the birth of my new alias, Jayface. From this moment on, I am officially producing and registering all my music under this name.

The shift

Around 2004, a massive shift occurred in my production workflow as I transitioned from vertical trackers to modern, left-to-right Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). This new layout opened up a completely different way of arranging and visualizing sound. Armed with this fresh perspective, I spent the following months heavily involved behind the scenes, participating in several side projects as a co-composer and contributing to various underground electronic tracks.

The beginnings

In the early 2000s, my musical journey began with vertical, top-down sequencers, learning the raw grit of electronic music production. By late 2003, this experimentation led to a major milestone: entering a professional studio as part of a trio collaboration. Together, we crafted and engineered our very first official master CD, conceived as a full-scale stage production featuring a live vocalist. While this material never received a commercial release, that physical disc remains a foundational piece of my history - the moment the music moved from a hobby to a serious craft.
